Autumn is my fave time of the year! Yes I love the summer but living in England I feel like you don’t ever get to fully embrace a summer wardrobe. That’s because you don’t get the wear out of it unless we get the odd couple of heatwaves here and there or we are jetting off abroad. So we can fully embrace the autumn now guys because that suits our lovely British weather yayy!
I love autumn fashion because I love building up layers and I’m all for a good chunky knit and ankle boot. At the moment we are in that transistional stage between summer and autumn, so I have done a post based on an outfit that’s also a bit in between. So fingers crossed this inspires you on how to dress when it’s not warm or cold either. Even though last weeks bank holiday weekend I felt like I was abroad because the weather was so beautiful!
Here are some pictures below of my transistional autumn look. Keep scrolling :)!
So firstly before I ramble on about this outfit did you spot the photo bomb giving a cheeky wave looking through these pics ha? Yes the struggle is real when you have a random member of the public who ruins one of your photos. I think every blogger and photographer has this struggle. Oh well let’s get onto the look ha!
As you can see I’ve tried to bring in some autumn tones with the blush tan velvet skirt which is from the trend department at H&M, paired with some black Primark mules to keep it in transition. I have also gone for a dark lip which I am a big fan of by the way. I thought it also went well with the studded black biker jacket to add a bit of edginess to my look.
Is anyone else loving slogan tees at the moment? Because I am a massive fan of this female revolution tee (also H&M). I just think these tees are such a staple in my wardrobe right now, and I just love wearing them tucked into my collection of skirts. This look is 100% my go to outfit paired with some trainers and a cute sock YES! You should know by now that I appreciate a good matching sock :).
To tie this outfit in together I accessorised with some rose gold tassel earrings, which are a huge trend at the moment. I think I already own around a million pairs in a variety of beaut colours to go with every outfit. Also you can see that these earrings pick out the colour of the velvet skirt as well as the stud details on this cute little drawstring bag that I got in the Zara sale for £5! It’s all in the details for me and I love finishing off an outfit like this. I am a bit of a OCD perfectionist ha.
Hope you guys appreciate this little short and sweet outfit inspo and keep an eye for some full autumnal looks coming soon to my blog.
Thanks for reading and any comments are much appreciated 🙂 xx
