I am one of those people that has always loved colour and you will never find me in black. I just don’t own many black clothes which might seem quite hard for you dark clothes lovers out there haha. I am all for adding a bit of colour especially when it comes to my autumn winter outerwear.
Last year I had a pastel pink oversized wool coat which I lived in and it went with pretty much everything. This year I have been seeing a lot of colour flooding the high street from stunning pastel faux furs to mustard yellow woollen coats. I think if you like to stay on trend and if you are a lover for dark clothes then you can add a pop of colour to your autumn winter wardrobe easily with a coloured coat.
So this year I have been seeing a lot of blue vibes so I have opted for a pastel blue teddy fur effect coat from Zara. As soon as I saw this coat I needed it in my life! I am rather dramatic I know but trust me you will need it in yours to when you see the pictures ha.
The teddy faux fur trend is massive right now ranging from soft creams to deep browns even to pink, blues and yellows! I have spotted a cream one from Topshop which I am waiting till the next pay day to purchase, but heres the pictures of my beautiful blue one.
I just absolutely love the texture of it and it will be so so cosy for the winter. As the colour is quite pastel it will go with many tones from your blacks to light greys and even metallic colours. To style it up I paired this coat with some metallic silver boots and my Gucci dupe hand bag, along with my baker boy cap of course. I have literally not took that hat off ha!
The metallic boots which I got from New Look last year have come back again this season really set off this look as I always use a statement shoe to sign off an outfit. I’m all for a good sassy shoe! This bag to is also a new favourite of mine which is from Missy Empire, which I will also tag below for you.
So yeah if you are one of those people that always wear black but are unsure on how to look more colourful or to brighten your dark outfit up, then there are lots of good coloured winter coats out there right now. And if your like me and love a bit of colour, then work with tonal outfits with your coloured coats to get that statement high fashion look.
Hope you guys liked this short and sweet post but heres some more pictures for you and the full outfit is tagged with the shopping links at the bottom. Any comments or ideas of what you would like me to post or write about next are very much appreciated :).
