Hey there everyone hope you all had an amazing Christmas and Happy New Year to you all :)!
Welcome to my first post of 2018 where I really want to get into my blog and post more regularly and often, as I have just achieved my first 5k followers on Instagram yay!
So this post is in collaboration with Student High Street who support new upcoming brands by providing a platform, as well as new emerging writers and journalists. Student high street are really keen to generate a social buzz and showcase emerging brands who are run by students and graduates who are young, innovative, and bursting with ambition. I am all for platforms like this as being a graduate myself it’s really tough when graduating from university and finding a job to utilise your degree. You leave university full of ideas and a plan of what you want to do and when your a creative person it’s hard to find businesses and platforms to support you with that. I have a First BA Honours degree in Fashion Design myself and never used or fully utilised it. The tough world of being a graduate for you but here are I am now writing to you lovely lot so your support is always driving me on.
For this collaboration I have been gifted an outfit through Student High Street who have connected me with the brands Velvet Cave (who made me the sassiest pair of green flared cords by the way), Fan Club Clothing and Big Metal London. Here’s how I’ve styled the pieces and direct shopping links will be at the bottom of this post as always.
I absolutely love these green cords from Velvet Cave Clothing! I just love the colour, the shape and the zip detail is so on trend right now. I loved that these were made for me to and that the quality and fit is so good, very true to size.
I decided to style this outfit up with this patent vinyl jacket from Rebellious Fashion as I think it looks very edgy and complements the green. And as always I have added my trusty baker boy cap. I actually feel like I look weird without a hat on now ha! Like when I do an outfit I’m like theres something missing?
The slogan tee by Fan Club Clothing is super cute I’m all for the slogan ‘It was all a dream’, very on trend also. Finally the statement gold earrings by Big Metal London. You all know me by now and know that I’m a complete addict when it comes to statement earrings. I’m actually hooked ha and I think these gold ones are so nice and would be lovely for the up and coming spring season to. I will be wearing these a lot!
I just want to thank Student High Street for this collaboration and gifting me these super cool trendy pieces. And also the best of luck for all the new emerging brands that are being supported by the Student High Street platform, just go for it guys the sky’s the limit!
